stepAM (Audio Manager for stepDP)¶

The Audio Manager for stepDP (stepAM) is a software component written in C# that manages audio streams. The tool can connect to multiple audio sources, convert the streams, and distribute them to the corresponding services. Currently, it supports RAW/WAV, MP3, and OPUS formats. Additionally, it includes functionalities for automatic connection via broadcast, as well as Voice Activity Detection (VAD), which can either respond automatically to the data stream or be triggered through a button or other forms of interaction. Through the Audio Manager, the audio stream is forwarded to stepDP and pre-encoded to be sent to web services such as Cerence Mix.
